Chapter 7

THE TEACHER OF TRUTH

By
The Man Who Saw God Face To Face
Raphael Okechukwu Nweze

WHO IS A TEACHER?
         He is the one who has the knowledge of God and the Universe. He is the Light-Bearer, the Day Star, the Bright Morning Star, who is fit to enlighten, to educate, to guide, to lead and to transform mankind. Being sent from God, he is full of light (full of the Holy Spirit).

Whoever that knows the Truth
becomes a light of the nations.

WAHT DID BUDDHA SAY?

“I am not the first Buddha (Saviour) who came upon earth,
nor shall I be the last. In due time another Buddha will arise in the world,
a Holy One, a supremely enlightened on, one endowed with wisdom in conduct,
auspicious, knowing the universe;
an incomparable leader of men, a master of angels and mortals.
He will reveal to you the same eternal Truths which I have taught you.
He will preach his religion, glorious in its origin, glorious at the climax,
and glorious at the goal, in the spirit and in the letter.
He will proclaim a religious life, wholly perfect and pure;
such as I now proclaim.”

DUTIES OF A TEACHER
         The saviour (teacher) sets up what has been overturned. He corrects what has been misunderstood or misinterpreted. He reveals what has been hidden. He points out the way to those who have gone astray. He lights a lamp in the midst of darkness. He opens the eyes that are closed. He is diligent in teaching the Truth, by minutely explaining, and illustrating with example (parables).

JESUS AS A ROLE MODEL
         Jesus came to:
  1. Demonstrate what man is.
  2. Demonstrate the nature of man.
  3. Demonstrate the powers of man.
  4. Show how man should live and relate with his fellow men.
  5. Show the relationship between God and man.
  6. Emphasis the need for Life in Spirit and in Truth.
  7. Show man how to solve people’s problems.
  8. Serve as a light to the nations, providing knowledge, understanding, insight, foresight, wisdom, solutions and counsel.
  9. Show that every statement He made about Himself equally applies to man.

CATEGORIES OF TEACHERS
         In this world, we have four broad categories of teachers of Truth. One, those who are ignorant, but think that they know. They refuse to learn from those who know. Two, those who are just ignorant, but would like to know. They love to hear from those who know. Three, those who actually know the Truth, but remain silent. At times, they pretend that they do not know. Four, those who actually know the Truth and teach the Truth. These are the Bright Morning Stars.

And I will give him the morning star. Revelation 2:28

He who knows the Truth,
     speaks the Truth without fear or favour,
being guided by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
     (From Everlasting Wonders by Nweze Raphael)

He who knows the Truth
     Becomes one with the Truth.
Therefore, he reigns supreme
     And
None can intimidate him.
     (From Everlasting Wonders by Nweze Raphael)

According to the teachings of Jesus,
blessed are those who know the Truth.
However, double-blessed are they who know the truth and do not fear;
and triple-blessed are they who know and speak the Truth without fear.
(From Everlasting Wonders by Nweze Raphael)

THE IGNORANT TEACHER
         What Is An Ignorant Teacher Like? He is like a mad man teaching children Mathematics, while the children are busy laughing at him. (From Everlasting Wonders by Nweze Raphael)
